June 17th- July 27th 2002
Featuring work by Peggy Washburn, Seth Dickerman, and Steve Meyers
Opening Artist Reception: Saturday June 22nd 2002 3-5pm

Peggy Washburn
A photographic educator and professional photographer for the last twenty
years, Peggy Washburn has been artistically depicting her children for the
last seven years. Her intensely, moody and riveting work is not the
reflection of the typical stiff, plastic child photographic work by many
other photographers. It challenges the viewer to see the more complex
thought processes evoked in a childıs mind.

Seth Dickerman
Seth Dickerman has been taking photographs seriously since 1967. The work,
perceived through a moving camera at the time of exposure, presents an
unusual twist on the world around us. His work is an emotionally charged,
highly subjective representation of landscapes. Though entirely modern and
purely photographic, this work is influenced by and in the tradition of
Romantic Expressionist painters.

Steven Meyers
"A rare and unusual look into the complex beautiful structures of flowers
and leaves. Mixed with a fine sense of design, he has given us a view of
nature's inner workings that unfolds to an intense beauty that is hidden
from the naked eye." Denver Museum of Contemporary Art
The earliest floral radiographs were recorded as early as the 1930's and
even today prints from floral radiographs are very rare. Steven concentrates
on floral still life subjects exclusively, reserving much of his time for
new x-ray images, studio camera shots, and new quad-tone, black and white
Giclee printing of digital floral images
